I have always refrained from posting my political opinions here. Because mainly I respect everyone's opinion, and; I try to understand their point of view. But for one candidate, I still can not fully understand the amount of support he is getting.

Why Bongbong Marcos?

You are not happy with the Aquino administration? Well guess what, me too. Unaccounted Yolanda Fund, SAF Massacre, PDAF are only some of the current administration's failures. But my question is why do you believe the Marcoses are the default solution? Aquino VS Marcos? Yellow VS Red? Why should our government be the duel of political families? We have democracy that allows us to vote for our own leaders. Why would you use this gift to perpetuate their dynasties? This is not Westeros where we are forced to swear loyalty to powerful families. GoT may be a fantasy novel, but the scary thing is, we can still expect the same results. The families play the game, while the people become collateral.

“The sins of the father are not the sins of the son”. Yes, I agree as well. They are different people, and why would he pay for Ferdinand's crimes. But won't the same logic also imply “The achievements of the father won't necessarily be the achievements of the son”. Ferdinand did not have South China Sea Dispute or ISIS. The country doesn't have the same credibility with the World bank as before. These gives Bongbong a different playing field. What makes you so sure that he will bring the same greatness to the country? Yes he had years in public office and graduated from impressive schools. But majority of the vice presidential candidates have similar credentials.

But is he really free from sin? He may not have been convicted. But he still has cases on ill gotten wealth. He held office and allegedly received billions of dollars. As one blogger points out, why would you not like Binay because of his corruption issues, but why would you give absolution to Bongbong?

But perhaps my biggest concern is that your support completely disregards the victims of torture and “salvages” of Martial Law. These are the stories of normal citizens like you. These are the stories of your parents, relatives, neighbors. These are not videos on facebook and youtube. But why would you trust these propaganda videos over their stories? Why would you disregard their fear and pain just because Bongbong is promising vice president?

These are the reasons why I can not fathom why Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR RECEIPT DOES NOT MATCH YOUR BALLOT

1. Before accomplishing ballot, copy the Ballot ID number found at the upper right corner of the ballot on a piece of paper, or onto your palm.

2. Accomplish ballot by shading completely the oval of the candidates of your choice. Feed your ballot into the VCM scanner, and wait a few seconds for the VCM printer to finish printing your receipt. The BEI will help you cut the receipt from the VCM. Once you feed your ballot into the VCM, and you get your receipt, you cannot get your ballot back. Acceptance by the VCM is final.

3. Step away from the VCM so that the next voter can cast his vote, and walk towards the black box receptacle for the receipt. Read your receipt and if there is any error like a vote for candidate A on the ballot which is reported as a vote for candidate B on the receipt, or a vote for candidate A reported as undervote, or a vote for candidate A reported as overvote, then COPY your Ballot ID from your codigo (on your palm) onto the back of the receipt, sign the back of the receipt, and complain to the BEI, telling her of your objection, which the BEI is required to record in the minutes of the precinct.

With the Ballot ID on the receipt, Comelec can then match your receipt to the correct ballot, and check the validity of your complaint. If the Ballot ID is not written on your receipt, there is no way to match the receipt to the proper ballot, and so your complaint may be ignored by Comelec, or Comelec might charge you with various violations.

4. If your receipt matches your ballot exactly, deposit your receipt into the black box receptacle. you can not take your receipt with you out of the precinct – this is an election offense.

5. Your votes, whether correctly or incorrectly read by the VCM, are included in the count for the precinct.

IN SHORT: TAKE NOTE OF YOUR "BALLOT ID" before ninyo i feed sa VCM machine. Para pag may problema sa resibo, ISULAT ang ballot ID sa resibo at pirmahan. Then inform the BEI.

Your family started 30 years of wasted opportunity but you insulated your friends and allowed them to propagate their greedy intentions ignoring the plight of the ordinary filipino like the farmers you kill and continue to deprive of their rights. Now you want the people to protect you. Isnt that bullshit or you re simply insane.
