You can see how the dramatic overtake is clearly driven by votes coming in from Visayas and Mindanao.

Incidentally, this also shows that the votes did *not* come in randomly. This much is clear from the data/common sense/news reports, that assuming otherwise must be disingenuous, while ironically claiming authority through technical jargon. (I hope they realize there are serious repercussions to professional reputations.) On the bright side, the data geeks have emerged politically engaged and with a nascent community forming before our very eyes– it's beautiful to watch.

We, Filipinos should let the world know what we see in our incoming president, because positive media coverage is in the national interest.

Presumptive President Duterte is not "Asia's Donald Trump". Perhaps, closer to Bernie Sanders the first-ever socialist to come close the Democratic's party nominee.

Or since he is the first Filipino president to be elected in protest of the oligarchy, we can better understood him by looking through the lens of Latin American socialist presidents Evo Morales, Hugo Chavez or best yet, Lula de Silva…

Ultimately, Duterte is incomparable. Easy to caricature, hard to fully capture. Let's see what he brings to the table.

I don't know how much harder I need to pray for Leni Robredo to win. Please let the Filipinos have this one.. ‪#‎LabanLeni‬

No.366

Delikado yan si Leni here sa mga OFWs. Kulelat ang LP dito. It's between Marcos and Cayetano here. Sobra frustrated and mga OFW for the lack of policies and protection given ng current admin. Hope for the best.

Even im not political analyst, if du30 wins, bbm must win why?:

- LP still dominate legislative and judicary level.
- trillanes and honasan have military position, military units to command and possible spy which can use for impeachment or somewhat coup de etat (but little to none chance)
-if Leni wins, prepare to have impeachment #2 (or 3 if you count corona)
-if bbm wins those 2 party may unite to BTFO LP legislative machinery.
-edsa 4 revolution? Only yellow will do that.

Kaya alangain pa siya

Looks like the Philippines has elected its own "Trump" as foreign media outfits have dubbed him. In truth, he's actually worse because he blatantly disrespects women (among others) and has even confessed to killing people. But I can deal with it because I know how much the Filipino people are tired of traditional politicians who continue to fail them. To them, he presents drastic change.

What I can't accept is our country possibly electing the son of a former dictator as vice president. We forget too quickly. Note that if he wins, he will be gunning for the presidency in 2022. But there's still hope because a much better candidate is catching up. She's the only bright spot in this whole thing.

Kaming mga PPCRV Volunteers po do not have the same authority like the Comelec. In the first place, you already had so much time to check if your profile is active or not. In the second place, there were already information on where you can check your precincts ahead of time. And in the third place, no touch naman po kame sa listahan ng Comelec. Volunteers do not deserve that kind of treatment. Nobody else is responsible for yourself but you. Pero kahit ganon pa man, buti na lang, stay positive lang lagi, and always ready to serve proud ako sa lahat ng PPCRV Volunteers! Mabuhay tayo!
